Ronnie Gee

Member of: G-Force

Alias: King Ronnie Gee, Ronnie G

Very little is known about Ronnie Gee (Ronald Gordon) except for the records he’s released.

He debuted in 1979 with the S.M. Crew on Reflection Records with A Corona Jam. The track was a B side and one of a few at the time on Reflection that featured a different artist on each side. In this case, the A side was Ron Hunt’s Spiderap. The following year Ronnie released the classic disco rap track Raptivity on Bachak which was so popular that it was reissued the same year for wider distribution by Reflection Records.

1983 saw, by far, his biggest release as part of G-Force together with Captain Cee (Will Crittendon) when he released the electro rap classic, Feel The Force on SMI. The track also featured on the very first of the Street Sounds Electro compilation albums in the UK. He followed the G-Force track the following year with another electro rap track called Positive. Sadly, for reasons unknown, the track was never officially released and only exists as a one-sided 10″ acetate.

1985 saw the release of Sweet Susanne on Stanpico as King Ronnie Gee and finally, in 1986, he released Crackstreet on the Wheels label.
