Disco Daddy – Zodiac Rhymes

California Gold (US) [MJ 5028] 1983

Disco Daddy began as a DJ and party promoter in the mid to late 1970’s. He used to have DJ battles with DJ Tracy aka Ice T hosted by Unique Dream Entertainment aka Uncle Jamm’s Army and went on to form the LA Breakers who performed at the 1984 Summer Olympics. The crew featured a young Cuba Gooding Jr. and Raymond Cruz.

Following the 1981 debut track with Captain Rapp, this was Michael Khalfani’s first and only solo venture on vinyl and, as the label states, was dedicated to the memory of Magic Mike.
