Hailing from Baltimore and originally named Triple Threat, the Z-3 MCs were put together by The We Rock Crew and consisted of Marvin C (Marvin Caldwell), Romey Z and Sean Nice (Clifford Story), who was sadly shot and killed in 1993.

Their only track, released on Duke Bootee’s Beauty And The Beat Records, entitled Triple Threat, was produced by Bootee with scratches by an uncredited DJ Cheese (Robert Cheese), edited by Latin Rascals and mixed by Dave Ogrin.
