Members: Andrew Welsh, Prince Nasty B, John Lindsay, Professor Paul
The Death City Boyz from Hell’s Kitchen, NY, were Andrew Welsh, Prince Nasty B (Fareed Abdallah) and John Lindsay with their DJ, Professor Paul (Paul Pinnock). They only had the one release as a group, Bopsey Twins, which is most notable as it is mixed by the legendary techno and house DJ, Frankie Bones, and appears to be the first track he had any input on.
The promo and the official releases are exactly the same but there are two different test pressings which, thanks to Fab once again, I’ve included below.
Andrew and Fareed (Reed) later appeared as members of the freestyle group Spirit Matter and were produced by Tommy Musto and Frankie Bones aka Musto & Bones.
Professor Paul became a member of late 80’s/early 90’s hip hop group, E.S.P., releasing their only album, Valoompadoom Pink! in 1991 for Select Records.
