Airborn (Jose Lopez), Spider (Cliff Lyons), Kano (Milton Torres) & Flip (Juan Barranco) formed the breakdance crew The Dynamic Breakers along with an outsider named Duce (Julio Martinez) as a spin-off from the much larger Dynamic Rockers. They have featured in a few movies such as The Exterminator, Delivery Boys & The Last Dragon.
They appeared on a televised talent contest and won the grand prize which was to appear in the Harry Belfonte movie, Beat Street, but due to financial disputes between their management and the movie’s producers, it never happened.
Their debut release on Sunnyview Records, Dynamic (Total Control), was produced by an uncredited, Cozmo D of Newcleus. It was originally supposed to be a duet with rap group Total Control (Dynamike, Frankie Dee & DJ Johnny Juice) but after a dispute with Breakdance International who arranged the deal, the record was released crediting Dynamic Breakers alone although Total Control was responsible for most of the content.
A second and final track, Kim, followed without Total Control but this time crediting Newcleus.
