Members: Bill Scranton (Phantom Rock), Mark Doyle (Phantom Rock), MCB Bop
Mark Doyle embarked on his musical journey in the 1970s, starting with his first band called Jukin’ Bone, which gained recognition for their two iconic hard rock classics: “Whiskey Woman” and “Way Down East.”
After the band disbanded, Mark Doyle established himself as a prominent lead and session guitarist, collaborating with various singer-songwriters such as Andy Pratt, Cindy Bullens, Leo Sayer, David Werner, and the renowned duo Daryl Hall & John Oates, among others.
During the mid-1980s, Mark found himself working closely with recording engineer, keyboardist, and songwriter Bill Scranton. Bill extended an invitation to Mark to record a track for Aaron Fuch’s Smokin’ Records. Together, they formed the duo known as Phantom Rock, and they were joined by M.C.B. Bop (Nader Hatem), who contributed both regular and robotic vocals using the Lexicon Prime Time.
In 1986, Nader Hatem, under the name M.C.B. Bop, joined the band Partners In Crime and made his appearance on their debut release, “Hefty.”
