MC Loire from Manchester hooked up with DJ Sheik from Hull and formed Hearts of Darkness together. Taking influence from Hip Hop icons such as: A Tribe Called Quest, Souls of Mischief, Eric B & Rakim, Kool G Rap, Lord Finesse & DITC, they produce a unique Funk Jazz Hip Hop sound – A backline of rare breakbeats, loops and samples topped off with DJ scratching and dynamic vocal delivery.

Originally released as ‘Remasters’ in minimal quantities on CDr in 2010 and sent to friends, fans and supporters towards the end of the ‘Heroes Of UK Hip Hop’ forum in 2010 and to people involved in the forum and site, then reissued by Style Warrior in 2016 on vinyl.
