Description

Royal Fam – Yesterday, Today, Iz Tomorrow (LP) [Wu-Tang/De Rap Winkel DRW085]

Royal Fam’s Yesterday, Today, Iz Tomorrow is a cornerstone of 90s underground hip-hop, blending gritty beats with sharp, introspective lyricism. Originally recorded in 1995 but shelved until its eventual release, this album captures the raw essence of the Wu-Tang Clan-affiliated crew. Packed with hard-hitting tracks like Black Castle and Something Gots to Give, it’s a must-have for fans of rugged, boom-bap aesthetics.

Hailing from Brooklyn, Royal Fam emerged as a Wu-Tang Clan affiliate group in the mid-90s. Known for their dark, cinematic beats and thought-provoking rhymes, the crew—led by Timbo King—left a lasting imprint on hip-hop’s underground scene. Their music resonates as a testament to the era’s raw creativity and streetwise storytelling. Yesterday, Today, Iz Tomorrow remains their defining work, celebrated by hip-hop enthusiasts worldwide.

Not to be confused with the release from 2000, it’s been confirmed by the artists that the earlier version was not finally mixed or mastered and was leaked prematurely to the public. This is the intended official Yesterday, Today Iz Tomorrow, by Royal Fam, fully mixed and mastered with updated cover and contains the original track listing which has two tracks not on the earlier release.

This is the Hip Hop Enterprise exclusive pressed on yellow & black smoke vinyl and limited to only 150 copies!
