Description

Kardinal Offishall – Eye & I (2LP Reissue) [Funky Dividends FDR001]

Kardinal Offishall is a Canadian-born rapper and record producer best known for his distinctive reggae and dancehall-influenced hip-hop style.

In 1996, he released his first single “Naughty Dread”, which was featured on the “Rap Essentials Volume One” compilation and earned him a Juno Award nomination for Best Rap Recording. He followed this in 1997 with his debut album ‘Eye & I’ on Capitol Hill Music, produced by himself and Saukrates. The album spawned just one single: “On Wit Da Show”.

The album was originally released on CD and cassette but now, in 2024, thanks to the guys at Funky Dividends Records, the album has been remastered and is presented for the first time as a limited edition double vinyl LP
